Job Description
The Opportunity
You: You’re a strong customer service advocate who enjoys helping people so they can focus on their goals – in this case, students who are gaining the education and skills they need to pursue their dreams.
Your Mission: We’ll count on you to oversee and maintain an efficient service operation of the Bursar’s Office and ensure that staff is properly trained in handling all the various transactions.
Your Work: You’ll be accepting and recording payments, and attaching waivers and exemptions on student accounts using cashiering equipment. If discrepancies arise, you’ll work with your supervisor to resolve them. You’ll deposit receipts properly and in a timely manner, either through the Remote Deposit System or the conventional process. Assist students in areas concerning their financial account records, including but not limited to, understanding their tuition and fee charges, refunds, 1098T and others.
